Mada's Memoir

Hi, My Name Is Mada

First and foremost thanks for stopping by. My passion is writing. From writing songs lyrics to having about 80 notes on my iPhone of words with no context, writing is what I love.

My first love however, are my two sons who are both Three Years old. They have given me the honour of being called mum and transformed and elevated my life in ways that are almost hard to describe.

The reality of being where we are today, however has been far from smooth sailing especially with my first son who was born premature at 31 weeks old. And its the journey to how we got here that’s given me the drive for motivating others by being real about parenting, especially for a young mother trying to get on with life and balance a career.

Becoming a first time mother can be very overwhelming no matter your age. So as a young woman, how best can you prepare for this new chapter?

It took years to get to this stage where I can finally feel like me again, and you can too!

Introducing the people who have made this journey what it is today.

We are a family of four living in the Irish countryside making the most of being young parents. ☘️

As much as we do sometimes feel our friends are living their best lives traveling, going on nights out without thinking of babysitters and enjoying lie-ins on weekends. We would not change any of it if we had to do it all again.

There’s so many benefits to starting a young family; the company that will always be yours, the kisses and cuddles every night before bed and little hands that reach out to you and want all of you after having a long day. Kids are the greatest blessing.

I graduated with a BSc in IT and only recently got a job in my field of study, while my husband juggles whatever it is he does in work and his beloved love for reptiles and geckos. Our boys are so different, one loves peace and calm while the other makes us run around in circles looking for the next adventure. Very different but we have each other and this is our unit.

I hope you enjoy your parenting journey in a way you never have before. ❤️
